Under The Benign Sky

"I lingered around them, under the benign sky;
watched the moths fluttering among the heath and hare-bells;
listened to the soft wind breathing through the grass;
and wondered how anyone could ever imagine unquiet slumbers,
for the sleepers in that quiet earth. "
- Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights

--------

It's a really nice day today.
The sun is shining.
The birds are chirping.
 And there's not a cloud in the sky.

It's funny how the weather can influence the way we think.

I believe that the sky is just a mirror for our emotions,
a metaphor for the human spirit.

If it's a nice day out,
most people chose to be optimistic.
That must explain all the smiling people I keep seeing.

What say you?
Do you think nice weather makes for nicer people?
Hmmmm...
